Does MTP resource inside CUCM support g729?

We have 2 CUCM cluster in different cities connected via a private link and throught a FW in every site. So, we need to send calls back and forth and we are thinking of configuring a SIP Trunk with MTP required and we are not quite sure if CUCM will support g729 for the MTP service - had  anybody been there?
