We are in the midst of completing our migration from our Avaya pbx over to Cisco and have run into odd issues with regards to analog elevator lines. While connected on a traditional pbx port we do not experience automatic dialing or noise on the lines. However when move the line over to a VG350 port, we get noise and have issues with the line automatically dialing. Currently the lines are configured with a PLAR route pattern, which we have no issues with. However we get noise on the line, and cross connect is just fine.
Is there something we can do within the VG350 router or on the translations to resolve this issue where we experience it? Not all of our ~200 elevator lines are experiencing this, it seems to be only with a half dozen so far.

The noise has nothing to do with PLAR. You need to isolate the noise to either wiring or external line.
Start by connecting an analog phone or butt-set to the analog patch panel/block to see if you experience the same issue. Next, if the PLAR is external destination change it to internal extension known not to have issues and test it.
How long is the cable from elevator to patch panel/analog GW? Is there only one phone connected to the line, otherwise you need to consider REN value.
Have you played with input gain and output attenuation on the analog port?

Thanks for responding Chris! Your first few points have already been verified, but we haven't played the input/output attenuation on the port yet. Is that adjusted in the router, because I don't see anything on the port config or DN settings.

Those adjustments would be done on the port on the GW via CLI not CUCM.
