I find that the EMCC visiting phone cannot call to PSTN in home cluster. A phone logging in with EM (not EMCC) in home cluster with the same device profile has no such problem.
For call to the PSTN, the home cluster uses LRG.
I read from the features and services guide and it seems to be how EMCC is designed. And once I use LRG, no matter where I hit it using the Adjunct CSS, line CSS or EMCC CSS in device profile, the call will be redirected to visiting cluster using SIP trunk.
Please confirm if it is the design or I do miss anything.
Thanks in advance.
Excerpt from the guide:
Local Route Group Routing of EMCC Visiting Phone in Home Cluster
- EMCC visiting phone and its local route group register to different clusters
> Calls that terminate to Standard LRG of EMCC visiting phone in home cluster get directed to visiting cluster via PSTN access SIP trunk (EMCC Configuration).
