Hi,
Does anyone know when a call is sent to CER for emergency if the notifications are sent immediately when the digits are dialed or if the alerts are sent after the call has been established?
I am trying to avoid notifications when the emergency digits are dialed by mistake by the end user.

TAC may say it sends the alerts after the call has been established but it has been our experience that as soon as 911 or 9911 is dialed it immediately sends the call and the alert. We requested the ability to input a brief pause after dialing as we have many people that misdial and then hang up but unfortunately any pause we add affects ALL calls and not just 911 calls. Would love to see Cisco add the ability to program a pause after a specific dial string as it would prevent many call backs from our 911 dispatch as well as work on our Security team to check if it was an emergency or just a misdial.
