I am looking for some information what the real caveats are when I enable encryption between the Callmanager and Phones. The information I can find is pretty old and leads me to suspect that it is not widely used because of some unknown reason.
It is pretty easy to enable encryption between phones but that covers only about 50% of the calls, the rest use the CUBE gateways which (if you want to do it properly) should also support encryption from phone to gateway. So what about the CUBE part, what do I need to consider?
Also, we are also using the CUCM media servers to support early offer for out upstream SIP provider so I'll probably have to redesign that part.
And leads with some experience or whitepapers would be most appreciated.
