export and import translation patterns in cucm8.5

i want to add 300 new translation patterns i have exported the tp  i want to know whether to remove the old tp and add the new one in the csv because i need the old ones as it is in the cucm8.5 and do i need to have the header.txt with the translationpattern.csv for making as tar file?

You dont need to remove the old one unless you want to delete them. Yes the header file is very important, so yoou need to arichive both the header file and the xlationpattern file as a tar before importing back to cucn
