why we use PIN in voice user profle and what is the difference between password and PIN ?

I thank the pin if i am right is for after hrs. to unlock so you can get calls after hrs.

You will need to provide a URL for authentication under telephony service and subscribe all phones to have the service.

 url authentication http://<<ip address>>/CCMCIP/authenticate.asp  

PIN is used to login to IP phones and password is to login to browser to configure speed dial, call forward settings, etc on your user profile.

to access web browser http://<<IP address>>/ccme.html
