Hey everyone,
We got this issue with extension mobility that when staff travel to overseas offices and login to the phones with their Melbourne extension, they cannot get to the service desk after hours mobile number which they get to by calling the service desk extension number. Now the issue is the system assumes they're in Australia and just forward the call to 04.... and the call does not go through but when a local staff in international office call the number the system forwards the call to the international number 001614.....
Is there a way that I can configure this extension mobility to detect that staff is overseas and forward the call to the international number instead of local? ( add 00161 to the number)

If you have numbers that are going to be dialled from within different countries, your best bet is to have these all as E164 format, for example +15556667777. Configure E164 route patterns etc within CUCM, then for each country gateway convert to the format that the country requires - for example dialling that number in the US might convert to 5556667777, dialing from the UK 001555666777 or from Indonesia 00115556667777 depending on each countries convention. The conversion can be done on the Route List or by translation rules within the gateway.
