External DVD Reader with Callmanager 5.x

I want to upgrade my callmanager 5.x but I have a problem with the DVD reader in the server. I can not upgrade it with a SFTP or FTP server because we are running the problem with those service. Do you know if we can install a external DVD reader in the USB interface?

hi, I had the same problem. I opened server and connected external non-usb DVD by internal CD cable.
