Hi all,
anyone know if it is possible to use cisco e20 Telepresence endpoint with CUCM Forced Authorization Code feature?
We got to register the endpoint as a SIP phone in our CUCM 8.5.1, but we are not able to make calls using FAC feature.
Any suggestion or workaround about?
Thx.

Hi,
It should work normally just like from any other end point. I have not seen any special exceptions for this device.
Are you getting any error for the same while trying through FAC?

Hi,
FAC doesn't support SIP phones.

I thought it doesn't but as this model seems to be replacing cisco 7985 that supports FAC, I hope e20 too.
Do you know if this feature is going to be implemented for e20 in next versions? Or if there is any workaround about?
thx.

Hi All
FAC code works on the prompt message i.e. when you dial a number it will ask for the code which is not supported in telepresence endpoints. However if one will dial a number followed by # the FAC code #... 78........6#12345# ( 7 preefix followed by 10 digit number then # FAC Code # ) the call will go. Checked in my LAB.
