One of our router is connecting to IP phones via FXO voice-port. The user found that they cannot make a phone several call every months. During the problem, users can only heard busy tone from the phone. Once the user reported, we will enter the following commands to resolve the problem:
router(config)#voice-port 1/0/2
router(config-voiceport)#shutdown
router(config-voiceport)#no shutdown
router(config)#voice-port 1/0/3
router(config-voiceport)#shutdown
router(config-voiceport)#no shutdown
Anyone can help in this case? Is it software bugs for voice-port?

Possibly you need to configure disconnect supervision.

Hi p.bevilacqua,
Already configured disconnect supervision and here is the config:
voice-port 1/0/1
supervisory disconnect anytone
cptone CN
timeouts interdigit 3
timeouts call-disconnect 3
timeouts wait-release 3
!
During the problem, I found the following show voice-port result:

I am not sure why the "Hook Status" is staying in Off Hook when the call is already closed. Also, why "supervisory disconnect anytone" cannot solve this problem? I need to enter shutdown/no shutdown everytime to reset the voice-port to solve the problem.

You need to configure the specific tones.
Anynote never works.

Hi p.bevilacqua,
Thanks. But would you please explain me why "anytone" doesn't work? Also, in my case, what tones should I use?

You can try tones taken from:
