FXS BUSY 20 SECONDS AFTER CALL

Hello,

We have connected a Public Address System to a FXS Network Module (NM-HDA) with the following configuration:

voice-port 1/0/X

disconnect-ack

disc_pi_off

cptone ES

timeouts call-disconnect 5

timeouts wait-release 5

Anyway, the port continues busy after 20 seconds of disconnecting the call. Is this normal? Any idea?

If you are using the MGCP gateway, when the IP phone hangs up, after 15-20 seconds, you will get a busy tone on the FXS port. If you put in the command timeout call-disconnect 5 under the FXS voice port. The MGCP control port will not provide a busy tone until after 15-20 seconds after the IP phone hang up. If you change it to H323, the command will take effect.
