Hi,
I have a gateway with two Gig interfaces. Gig 0/0 is connected to switch 1. Customer would like to connect Gig 0/1 to another switch for redundancy reasons. If either of the switches fails the other interface can take over. Is this possible ?
Cheers.

The only way I can think that this would work is if you place each Gig interface in a different subnet and create a loopback interface. Then use that loopback interface as the source interface for VoIP traffic. This would require enabling routing on your switches and configuring a dynamic routing protocol on your switches and voice gateway.

That, Robert, is a good +5 idea.
Cheers!
