We are running CuCM version 11.5.1.15900-18 and our 3rd party certified tomcat certificates are expiring in about a month or so.
The question is if we generate csr now to provide to our security team but before we actually get to install the new certificates what if we need to restart the server or restart tomcat service, will it cause any outage.
No, generating a CSR does absolutely nothing to the service certificate that is currently in use.
