i have several CP-7942G SIP phones that i need change over to SIP mode to work with a SIP PBX.
The first step after a factory reset appears to be to somehow set it to SIp mode so it will try to download the proper firmware files instead of term42.default.load.
I believe I may have the SIP firmware files on my tftp server (os97xx.txt, pos3-8-12-00.loads) but would appreciate a link to download the latest SIP firmware and any tools needed to configure these phones in SIP mode. BAT ?? Cisco Unified Communications Manager ?? or are these tools just for phones in SCCP mode ?
