Customer running 8.X with h323 gateway on a 2821. Recently, replaced with a 2900. Before the gateway if she dialed
91xxxxxxx this is what would appear on her phone. After the 2900 the 9 is missing. The CM is not removing the 9 it is sent untouched to the gateway where it is removed. Is this a function of communication between the gateway and CM of what the actual called number is?

Hi,
I dont know why the operation has changed
when you upgraded your router.
However you can keep the "9" showing by
a setting on the CUCM
Service Parameters--->PUB SERVER-->
Call Manager--->ADVANCED
Cluster Wide - (Device H323)
Block Connected Number IE ---> Change from FALSE to TRUE
This parameter looks the connect number recived in the H323/H225 Notify message.
Regards,
Alex.

In addition to Alex's response ( +5) this behavior is driven by IOS and it probably changed with the hardware/software upgrade. I recall there being a command to change that as I recall seeing similar thread on this topic here few months back, but after trying to locate it I was unable to.
HTH,
Chris
