Help with Bandwidth Calculations

Hi there,

HQ has CUCM and many IP Phones.

A Branch is coming up with 60 IP Phones. Assuming 20 Simultanous calls between the WAN routers at both locations, what should be the dedicated bandwidth recommended? Kindly help with this calculations. Also, let me know other parameters that we should ask from MPLS service provider like Jitter, RTD etc.

Hi Ram,

Below link shows you the BW required per call. You can multiply it by your number of calls.

Also BW aare required for sinaling also. Above link shows you formula for that too. + above link has details based on your curuit used like WAN, MPLS, FR etc.
