Hello everybody.
My company has adquired recently a 2N Helios IP Force and Cisco 7975 IP Phones. We have sucessfully setup 2N helios and 7975 phone to receive and send audio calls using SIP protocol.
But we have the problem that the video signal from 2N Helios is not showed in display IP phone at the moment of lift the receiver ( unhang the phone ). The same issue calling from IP phone to 2N helios.
Initially we rebuilt the IP phone to factory default configuration so we suspect the problem is the video protocol or video codec currently configured in the 7975 IP Phone.
The 2N helios video codec or protocols are H.264 or H.263. Somebody know how to configure these videos protocols in the 7975 phones??
We are using the xml configuration files to configure the phone.
Thanks in advance for your support.
Regards...

Hi,
The 7975G does not support video on box according to the datasheet (no video codecs listed).
You may have been able to make this solution work with the Cisco Unified Video Advantage software (requires a computer for video enabled calls), but that software is end of sale.
Currently Cisco has many endpoint options that support video, to name a couple:
- 9971 (http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/collaboration-endpoints/unified-ip-phone-9971/data_sheet_c78-565717.html)
- 8941 (http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/collaboration-endpoints/unified-ip-phone-8941/data_sheet_c78-649593.html)
