How to configure conference call with sip endpoints?

I am using Cisco 2901 router (CME) with Cisco 7841 SIP Phones. These phone should be able to make conference calls. I think three users can conference with each other by default because I haven't done any configuration and it still works. But the problem is I am not able to add fourth person to the conference. Pressing the conference button to add fourth person doesn't give me a field to enter the phone number of fourth person.

All the documents I have found about conferencing are examples with SCCP phones. Is there any configuration guide while using SIP Phones? Please advise.

Hi,

By default, you can make a 3 party conference calls as the software based conference allows a max of 3 participants. If you want more than 3, then you need to enable DSP and configure hardware conferencing bridge on the gateway. Once done, enable hardware based conferencing under both "Telephony-service" for SCCP phones and Under "VOice register global" for SIP phones using the command "conference hardware"
