How to configure UC540 for soft phone based remote teleworker ?

Hi Friends,

Need help to configure UC540 for teleworker using soft phone.UC 540 is only attached with ADSL router no firewall ot other equipments are attached.

1) Which VPN is best suitable EZ-VPN, IPSec, SSL?

2) VPN router is required on other end where soft phone is installed ?

3) Which softphone is best for remote teleworker and easy to configure and support VPN with UC540 ?

Hi,

1- you can use any one of the above types

2- if you are talking about teleworker, you don't need to setup a vpn router. you can use vpn client on the pc to connect.

3- you can use ip communitcator version 7 or 8.6
