Hello,
Hoping someone would be able to help me. I have a Cisco VOIP 7942 phone with a 4 digit dialing extension that I can use to dial internally to intercompany by using 4 digit dialing plan. When I dial to an external device, it shows up as the main office branch's phone number instead of teh actual DID number. I am trying to find out what the full 10 digit dialing number is so we can get some business cards made with this number on it. We are using Cisco Call Manager to manage our VOIP DIDs.
-IT department says they only see the 4 digit number because that's all our PRI forwards to the Call Manager for processing that I should call our Telco provider.
-When I called the Telco provider using that phone, they say they can see is the head office's main phone number, and that the 4 digit number does not exist on their records, and that I should contact my IT Department.
If anyone could help or steer me to the right direction that would be great. If you need more information please let me know.
Thank You,
Peter
