I am using an IP telephone in the Cisco 6900 range, in the UK.
How do I withhold my out-going number, selectively? On a normal BT domestic telephone line, I prefix the number I am dialing with 141.
I want to do this selectively. I don't want the exchange administrator to make all my outgoing calls anonymous.

Hi Vin,
You need to configure a new route pattern to allow the system to identify the call. E.g. if you prefix 9 for external calls then you would have a router pattern 9.@. If you add a new pattern for 9141.@ you can then set the Calling Line ID to ‘Restricted’ on this route pattern.
Hope that helps.

Hi,
You will need a route pattern and or dial peers to match the code you are dailling.
E.g.
91410XXXXXXXXXX point to route list/group/gateway
And/or
a dial peer like:-
dial-peer voice 9141 pots
desc *** WITHHOLD CLI ***
destination-pattern 9141T
progress_ind setup enable 3
progress_ind alert enable 8
progress_ind progress enable 8
progress_ind connect enable 8
direct-inward-dial
prefix 141
port 0/0/0:15
