That will depend on the protocol, you can search cisco.com for mgcp configuration or h.323 configuration for examples.
As to how to use the remote router, that's the same as if you use the local router, CSS/partitions and your dial plan, maybe use LRG.

Hi Abdul,
As Jaime mentioned, you need to first decide on the protocol (mgcp/h323) to use for the remote gateway communication with CUCM.
For example, if mgcp, then you will add the remote gateway in CUCM as a mgcp gateway and the FXO port as an mgcp endpoint which is controlled by CUCM.
For routing calls out that FXO port, you need to point the route patterns to the FXO ports added in a route group/Route list. You also need to plan partition/CSS config accordingly.

Hi ,
Thanks for quick response.
I have two voice gateway one on the HQ and another on the branch office.
the HQ and branch is connected using IPsec Easy VPN configuration where the HQ has public IP and the branch is the vpn client .
Now I tried using the Cisco Ip Communicator and I got it working on the branch.
but my question is on the voice router with the fxo ports what configuration I should do for the branch.
so that when I dail 9.73XXXXXXX the call from the HQ will pass over the vpn to the branch router and establish a call to the PSTN from the remote branch voice router.
thanks for cooperation.
