Hi all, we are running CCM 4.2 with 7911 phones and I would like to ask, if it is possible to deny call, when its ringing (like on mobile phone). I just found out that there is a DND button (but probably on higher versions of CCM) and anyway DND is not exactly refusing of call because as far as I understand it also turn off ringing. Do somebody know how to refuse calls when they are ringing? Thanks very much.

You could use IDIVERT and forward to VM?

Hi,
You can do an iDivert (immediate divert) to send the call directly to voicemail.
Re-configure your softkey template (Ring In) to add it to a phone.
As far as I know there isn't a softkey that deny's a call though..

Thx, but we dont use voicemail and this button if I add it doesnt do anything when phone is ringing. Is there a chance to configure it on CUCM by some workaround - for example somehow configure some black-hole instead of voicemail on CUCM?

Idivert uses the VM profile, there is no way to modify the behavior.
you can configure a dummy profile and they should get busy
DND as you mention is standalone feature on linux appliance, on windows IPMA is required
HTH
java
if this helps, please rate
