I checked NTP on the Windows DCs that the publisher points to. It seems ok when I go to those systems. But for some reascon the Cisco UCM Publisher is reporting
"The NTP service not accessible."
and real time monitor is alerting "
At Sat Mar 10 15:49:53 PST 2012 on node hrk-cucmpub, the following SyslogSeverityMatchFound events generated: SeverityMatch - Critical ntp_one_shot.sh: None of the external NTP servers (10.10.10.139 10.10.36.20 10.10.10.140) responded. Verify the network connectivity, delay and jitter to the external NTP servers, that the NTP servers are operational, and that their strata are <= 5.
"
But again I don't think it's a problem with the servers but that the publisher is confused. Clearly there is no problem for network connectivity between the UCM and the NTP servers. Please advise on how to restart ntp on the publisher or if you have another thought I'm all ears. THanks.

Hi,
From the cli console
utils ntp status
Look at the clock details and which ip address you are deriving the clock from.
To restart the ntp
utils ntp restart
Regards
Alex
