Hunt Pilot - Use Forward Settings of Line Group Member

Hello,

I have problem with Call forwarding when using Hunt Pilot. Unanswered call is not Forwarded to destination configured on Line Group Member.

I have configured:

- Line Group with three DN - lg-abc, each DN number has configured CFW - No Answer and no Coverage - settings to some destination, Circular Distributing algoritm

- Hunt List hl-abc,  which contains Line Group lg-abc

- Hunt Pilot 12345 with Hunt List hl-abc,

- In Hunt Pilot config -  Forward Hunt no Answer is  configured to Use Forward Settings of Line Group Member

 

When I call to 12345,hunting is working fine. But what is the problem - If participant no answer a call or is unregistered, call should be forwarded to destination configured on Line CFW setting and this doesn't work. When I call line directly, CFW is working fine.

 

Any hints how to get it work?

Call Forward settings on the DN will be ignored if the call is coming to the DN through Hunt Group.

it is working as designed.

you can set the destination under Hunt Forward Settings in Hunt Pilot configuration page.

"Use Personal Preferences" has been renamed as "Use Forward Settings of Line Group Member" but the document was not updated

 

Hunt Forward Settings

Forward Hunt No Answer

When the call that is distributed through the hunt list is not answered in a specific period of time, this field specifies the destination to which the call gets forwarded.

Choose from the following options:

Use Personal Preferences—Use this check box to enable the Call Forward No Coverage (CFNC) settings for the original called number that forwarded the call to this hunt pilot.

The CFNC setting specifies a call forwarding reason that you administer in the Directory Number Configuration window. Calls get diverted based on the value in the directory number Coverage/Destination field when a call to the directory number first diverts to coverage, and coverage either exhausts or times out, and the associated hunt pilot for coverage specifies Use Personal Preferences for its final forwarding.

Note When this check box is checked, Cisco Unified Communications Manager ignores the settings in the Destination box and Calling Search Space.

Destination—This setting indicates the directory number to which calls are forwarded.

Calling Search Space—This setting applies to all devices that are using this directory number.
