Hi,
I have an MGCP QSIG E1 connection to a Nortel PBX which is in turn connected to the PSTN. For inbound PSTN calls route through the Nortel which is in turn sending the CLI to MGCP gateway with no leading area code but it is sending in with ISDN type National, Subscriber etc
So an inbound mobile call CLI will be presented by Nortel on ingress gateway as 87XXXXXXX with a ISDN type of National.
I am using the Incoming Calling Party Settings on the E1 config in UCM to normalise all types of calls to E164 - which is working fine
What I am seeing though is if an IP Phone transfers this to another IP Phone the normalised number is not being seen on the destination phone
- IP Phone 1 recieves inbound call from PSTN with CLI of +35387XXXXXXX
- IP Phone 1 transfers (blind or consult) to IP Phone 2
- Once transfer is complete IP Phone 2 sees CLI as 87XXXXXXX
Being MGCP I'm sure there is tick box somewhere that will resolve........though all UCM MGCP config settings are at default and I don't recall having this problem before
TIA
