Incoming Calls and multilple lines

Currently if you have more then 1 line on your phone, and the system is set to answer any incoming line on your phone, it will default back to the line that you have selected on the phone.  If you take a call and transfer it to someone else, it stays on the line that was answered.  Our users want it to default back to the line they had it set to.  Is this possible?
