Installing OS for Cisco Unity

I have a MCS-7815-I1 and I'm trying to install Cisco Unity onto it.  I have the required software and disks.  The problem occurs after I install the OS I can not find a way to install the drivers for the mobo, and chip set.  I have a Cisco Unity & Cisco ICM System Disc 2000 with the Product Key and a Cisco Unity Platform Configuration Disk.  The first thing I did was install the OS with the System Disk 2000 and then I used the Platform Config Disk and after this I still did not have the drivers installed.

Without the drivers installed I am unable to do any of the necessary tasks that are followed.

Please help me?.  I feel like it should be something easy and its just shooting right over my head.

Thanks,

Jeremy

What version of Unity do you have the disc set for (i.e., that you are installing from)?

I have Windows 2000 with Unity 4.0(5)  Its not necessary a unity installation problem its the OS that is on the disk.  Its not installing the device drivers for the motherboard so I dont have a local area connection   I'm unable to find any documentation online that tells me the type of motherboard.  Its from IBM thats all I can tell you.

I'm certain you can get Unity installed on the server (unless you have a

hardware issue); however, the platform configuration discs are typically

fairly specific in what server model/models they support. In fact, Unity

typically will ship with a generic disc that is a Windows 2000 only disk.

I've worked with customers where the platform configuration disks didn't

work for the server model they had so I had to install the Windows 2000 OS

and then use the vendor (e.g., HP, IBM) server configuration disks to

install the remainder of the drivers and etc.

What is the Platform Configuration Disk that you have (you may have

multiple)? Go ahead and list what you have and what is printed on it (for

compatibility) and then it'll be easier to know where you are.

If I recall correctly it is a Platform Config Disk Revision 15.

Printed on the disc, it should say what model(s) of server it supports.

Typically, there are separate discs based on model but they can be

specific - for example, one disc may support 7825I3 or 7825H2...other

discs would be for 7835 and etc. You'll need to check the actual

disc...Revision 15 doesn't tell me much.
