Hi all,

Please I need your Help.

Our customer is migrating the Telephony to Cisco.

This migrating is partial, then we interconnect CUCM with PBX Nortel using Gateway H323.

The problem is with the Caller ID between the calls from Cisco to Nortel and  From Nortel to Cisco.

In both edge, not display the Name, only display the Directory Number for the Calling.

Please, some idea for solve this issue

Regards

In CUCM, please ensure DN has name configured and 'Display IE Delivery' parameter in H.323 gateway configuration is checked.

I'm not sure about what you need to do in Nortel to get display IE information.

Hi Vivek,

Yes, this parameter in H323 gateway is checked.

In the Gateway I take a debug ISDN q931, and I saw the Name display, but in the Nortel PBX not appear.

regards

Hi,

I thought CUCM is directly connected to Nortel using H.323 but seems Cisco gateway is also in between. Can you please share how exactly gateway and Nortel system is interfaced?

Thanks

Vivek

Ohk, so you have a QSIG between them.

I have found some information which mentioned some issues with name display while connecting gateway through QSIG.

Let see if someone else has more information about this.
