We are using IP Communicator on our desktops to our CME. I have been asked if its possible to have an app on mobiles to save money on calls while travelling.
Using Jabber, is this possible? (having to bring up a VPN isnt an issue if required).

No, Jabber is not supported with CME.

Just to clarify, Jabber for windows or Mac are supported with CME, Jabber for mobile devices (IOS, Android) are not.
