IP communicator via VPN with Win 7 one way audio problem

Dear all,

I have an issue with CIPC ver 8.6 that used with CUCM version 7.0.3 , the problem is when I connect via VPN using Cisco VPN client , I get one way audio when I call any IP phone .

my issue is the one way audio with the IP phone , the strange thing was when I call any analog phone that terminated on the VG224 the call working normally .

So, I need your support to explain is it consider as routing issue with the subnets of the IP phones or other issue as VPN .

Hi Ahmed,

Couple of things you might want to check:

1. Please check vlan for IP phone and VG to see if they are the same.

2. Below is the port usage for RTP so better check firewall to see if it is blocking those ports:

16384 - 32767 / UDP

3. Please also let me know the flow of RTP for 1 way audio:

CIPC -> ip phone or IP phone -> CIPC
