Hi,
I would like to know your opinion/ experience with 6901 model because i would like to purpose this phone model to substitute analog phones in one costumer.
But i'm afraid of that because in marketing material its says "...It is designed for occasional use in environments such as lobbies, hallways, cafeterias, or other common areas..." Can you please share with me your experience and opinion?
Also 6901 supports call transfer ?
Thanks
Best Regards,
MC

I have one and I like it, you won't get caller ID since there is no display but it does look just like an analog phone. You can transfer too on the 6901 (http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cuipph/6901_6911/8_0/english/user/guide/book/callfeatures.html#wp1007910).

Hi MC,
I dont think the number of calls is important.
It is just another phone.
Make or receive as many calls as you like.
What the marketting is aiming at is that it is for basic use.
Calls in / out
HOLD
TRANSFER
It does not have multiple line buttons and all the other bells and whistles
