IP Phone 7911G & 7912G compatibility with HP Procurve Switch 2626-PWR

We are in the Process of Installing Cisco IP Phone Models 7912G, the later model 7911G & 7940.

The LAN switch in the network are the HP Procurve POE switch 2626-PWR.

The 7940 Phone is drawing power from the HP Switch. However the 7911 & 7912 are not able to draw any power.

Can anyone help me providing some answers.

Additionally the HP documentation confirms that CISCO 7912 & 7911 are compatible with Cisco Switch.

Kindly help me as we have made a large investment on these phones , about 300 of them

Replying to an ancient post, I know.... but better to have an answer for those who come after.

The 7912 is POE Prestandard, and will not run on a procurve unless you enable this on the procurve

power pre-std-detect

The 7911 is POE standard and should "just work"
