Hello,
I've plugged an IP phone 8945 onto a Cisco 2960 poe port switch with LLDP activated globally.
Port is set with data vlan and auxiliary vlan.
DHCP server is configured with option 150 TFTP that points to Publisher IP. This option 150 TFTP is set into the voice vlan ip addresses scope only.
I see DHCP requests from 8945 into the data vlan (2 requests), following by another request in the voice vlan. Finally the phone gets an IP address into the right vlan, but does not interpret the option 150 value. So I must set manually the alternate TFTP address...
We can see in wireshark traces the option 150 TFTP into the DHCP offer from the voice vlan.
Must I put the option 150 only into the data vlan ?
I was imaginating that with LLDP (or CDP) the DHCP request was done only into the auxiliary vlan.
Thanks for help.

Hi,
Can you try adding the TFTP server as option 66 on your DHCPserver/scope

Problem solved.
Option 150 was set as type "String" like other DHCP options we have for Nortel IP Phones.
Changing type to "IP address" solved the problem.
