we have one Ip -phone 7961, extension 4321, now the phone is broken, we get another ip-phone 7961, plug in, it didn't get correct extension number, may I know the step in CUCM to fix the issue ? thanks
You need to enter the mac-address for the new phone in CUCM. Swap the old mac with new one. Locate the old phone in CUCM either by searching with the directory number or mac address and change the device name field to the mac address of new phone.
