IP Phone's number disp on held calls want to show Calling party number

Hello, thank you for any suggestions.

When a call arrives to a Cisco 8861 IP Phone, the calling party number and name both display on the incoming call alert.

But once the call is connected the IP Phone that receives the call displays the phone number of the IP Phone instead of the calling party number. All phones use and must use Enhanced line mode. In order to display the calling party number I have had to press the circle button in the middle of the phone, but for most phone users this is a very unwanted extra step. What is the best practice for displaying the calling party number for connected and held calls? Again the phone number of the calling party appears in the incoming call alert, but once the call is connected or held in order to display the calling party number you have to press the circle button in the middle of the phone, by default the line shows "For" and then the 10 digit number of the IP Phone. If the phone is updated to Session line mode then the calling party number displays, but these phones have to use enhanced line mode. Whatever the recommended best practice is to get the phones to show the calling party number directly on the main display without having to press any buttons when the call is connected or held it is greatly appreciated!

Thank you!
