IP Phone Serivce - Corporate Directory

Hi All,

Trying to figure out what the CUCM server an IP phone will use for corporate directory.  In Enterprise paramaters we have a DNS entry that is load balanced to the 3 CUCM server, but when ever the corporate direcotry is seleced on the phone it ALWAYS connects to the CUCM server the phone is registered to.

The IP Phone service URL for "Corporate Directory" is configured as "Application:Cisco/CorporateDirectory"

Does this have to be change to the same value as the emterprise paramater to use the DNS entry??

Hello,

the corresponding Enterprise Parameters URL is only used for phone models 7940/7945/7960/7965/7970 (you can verify that by selecting the URL Parameter).

For all other IP Phone models, the Corporate Directory URL is handled by the "Corporate Directory" IP Phone service. There, you should fill-in the URL (http://<CUCM_IP>:8080/ccmcip/xmldirectoryinput.jsp or hostname in your case). Also, note that for firmware versions 9.3.3 and later you should use HTTPS.
