Dear all,
Is any tested to using the Cisco IP phone calling to any unknown internal DN (2xxx to CTI Route point for IPMA), after on-hook the headset.
The IP phone will hang for almost 10 sec timeout, then only disappear the display.

My cucm is 9.1.1.
I have restarted the ipma services, still the same.
It seems lile different timeout for different phone model.

I have test with Cisco 7945, the delay around 10 sec.
For Cisco 8941, it seems like drop faster..
is it the phone software issue?

I could not find much on delay issue but how come u are using 8941 for IPMA since I was referring the link which does not show IPMA supported for 8941 phone.

Hi,
I mean my customer environment do have using the IPMA features, so i do have an CTI with 2XXX as a DN number.
My issue now is if i do make a call to any directory which is not registered or not listed in the DN list, by right it should be call into the CTI route point.
But after i end of the call (on-hook the headset), it should be terminated the session upon i disconnect it.
For Cisco 8941, it can be stop it immediately.
For Cisco 7945, it will hang it and disappear after 10 sec timeout.
