Hi guys,
I am running into an issue at a customer. The problem is some IP phones not reachable sporadically and become busy however there is no ongoing call. User could make outgoing calls without problem.
Restarting the IP phone could solve the issue. We have following installation:
CUCM 10.5.2.1 - (Secured)
IP phone model and firmware : CP8841/10.3.1
In CUCM logs I could see a message "wait_CcSetupReq" for SIPStationD:
94766438.001 |11:34:28.027 |AppInfo |LineCdpc(5842691): -dispatchToAllDevices-, sigName=CcSetupReq, device=SEPB0XXXXXX

94766443.002 |11:34:28.027 |AppInfo |Line Control:: restart_DStopInd Release Call Instance = 1

94766443.005 |11:34:28.027 |AppInfo |LineControl(60149) - 0 calls, 0 CiReq, busyTrigger=1, maxCall=6
As you see no call was one the line and the phone was the on-hook mode.
Do you have any suggestions?

Hi,
we have raised a SR and TAC engineer suggested us to update the firmware of phones but this couldn't solve the issue.
After that it was found out we are facing the CSCug05305. Now we have to upgrade the CUCM.

Hi,
Can you check whether the same extension is configured anywhere else by checking in route plan report or pointed anywhere like in any callpickup groups.

Hi Rajan,
the extension is not configured for any callpickup groups/hunt groups.
This extention could get a call via Sikom (a contact center solution) per CTI connection.
I've already checked the TAPI logs and Kernel logs of Sikom and could see as soon as call was redirected to the extention, the call was dropped (because of wait_CcSetupReq - call rejected).

Hi farshinejad,
I have the same sympthom in my installation: from time to time, phones are not reachable but users can still make calls.
My installation is older: Secured CUCM 8.6.2 and 78xx/69xx phones.
And I found the same message in logs:
09:07:36.232 |SIPStationD(4,100,65,5475), SEPBCF1F2B46DFB, 172.22.27.68:50985, primaryDN=6635, wait_CcSetupReq - call rejected ... number of calls (1) exceeds busy trigger (1) or for callpickup, number of calls exceeds call limit (2) |4,100,230,1.1530627^192.168.106.13^*
Did you get any solution to this issue?
Best regards, and thanks in advance for any help
Esteban

Hi,
Thanks very much for your help.
We are also planning an upgrade to a later version. I´ve found that this bug is also fixed in it, so I expect to solve this problem.
Regards
