Hello !
I need your help with IPCC using codec G.729.
IPCCX was installed using G.729 but I don't know why, the sound is choppy. Using G.711 it works fine.
Do you think it could be a problem with the .wav file? Any idea?
IPCC Ver.:8.0.2
Call Manager Ver.: 8
Thank you very much.

Where is transcoding going on? I have had people setup Media Resources and then realize after voice problems they are transcoding or the MTP is nailed up across the WAN on the wrong CUCM server/gateway. Is this IPCCX virtual or standalone?

Hi Tommer, thanks for replying.
I tried with another g.729 wav file (which was working in a CM) and it worked in IPCCX. Therefore it may be a problem with my converted g729 audio file. Now I want to convert again the raw .wav to g729.
I read cisco documents and i can do that by copying the .wav to CM. The problem I'm facing now is to get the g729 file from the CM to my machine.
the command is :"file get activelog mohprep/FILENAME.wav" (i'm using CM7).
The SFTP server I'm running is Core FTP mini-sftp-server.
Everything goes smoothly, but I'm not sure what I should type in "Download Directory:". I keep getting "Invalid download directory specified" error.
I'm looking for a solution.
thanks!

Fixed.
I used a different software (freeSSHd).
When you get to "Download Directory", just type .
Download Directory: .
Transfer completed.
Using this g.729 that CM converted, it sounds is good.
Thank you very much.
