We have some 8861 phones and a couple users paired them with their cell phones. When they pick up the line on their 8861 and make the call, it connects fine but the called party hears static while the user on the 8861 can hear the called party just fine. Same thing happens when an incoming call on the person's cell phone comes in, since its paroled to the 8861 it rings on their 8861 also. When they answer it, they hear the caller fine but caller hears static. In both scenarios if the cell phone is muted the static goes away but then there is no audio on the one end. If you switch the audio on the cell phone to the mobile phone instead of the desk phone it works fine but switch it back and static.
