Jabber on VDI

Hello, all!

Our customer wants to use Jabber in VDI environment. Recently customer have tried to test Jabber on VDI client and it didn't work.

Customer has:

Jabber clients on CUCM 10.x,

VDI servers have debian like OS (assembled for a specific task proprietary linux)

and 64/32 bit VDI clients. 

Does anybody knows would Jabber works in such environment anf if so what should be done for it.

says that we need VXME agent installed in data center and VXME client installed on thin client,

and that VXME support next OS and clients:

Windows,

SUSE Linux,

eLux,

HP ThinPro and Ubuntu.

Could anyone say , if debian like linux supported, and VXME agent must be installed on thin client?
