Logging into Visual voicemail - can extension be pre-populated

When users launch Visual voicemail application on their IPphones - is there a way to have the extension field pre-populated with te phone's extension.  The Visual voicemail documentation does not show a service parameter for extension (comparing to, say, FastDials service).  Is there an unpublished service parameter for the extension by any chance?  Thanks a lot!

It does that by default, is it not doing it for you?

Yes, if I remember correctly, you need to enable the option "Voice Mail Web Service: Applications Can Cache the Cisco Unity Connection Password" in System Settings > Advanced > Connection Administration.

When you do the users' extensions will be cached and also be able to check the checkbox "Keep me signed in" on their phones, if I remember correctly.  It's been over a year since I did this.  You can run a quick test to double-check.
