Mapping Number external to text label

  Hi

  So we have just learning CUCM 12.5 configuration. but not sure about Can we mapping text label (Name of my staff) into phone 7821 when they call incoming? (I don't sure call manager have global phone book?)

Cisco IP Phones only rely on the line configuration settings to show up who is calling, if you mean external calls, there is no native way to map number to name, you need a 3rd party app to do that.

Only Cisco Jabber does rely on your directory source to map numbers to names.
