Hi
One of the admin guy setup password on MCS7825 Server. Is there way to bypass it as each time we cold start the server it asks for password.
Thanks in advance.

Shahid,
You will need to reboot the server again and this time enter the BIOS setup of the server. This is where power-on / admin passwords are set or cleared. Look closely at the boot sequence for the function key or key sequence to enter setup, and enter it before the server boots windows. In that setup screen you should be able to clear the password.

Hi Jeff,
Looked into bios setup, could not find the option to clear or rest power on password.

Hi Shahid
there should also be a switch inside the server to hard reset the Passwort. Check the server documentation (perhaps is there a drawing inside the box)
Hope it helps

Shahid,
If you are prompted for PW before Windows Starts... This is definately a BIOS password. If you were successful enough to get into bios setup then you were right there. Go back in there and look carefully for security settings, passwords, etc.
I just rebooted an MCS and it was under
"System Security"
