Our customer is using Meet-Me Conferencing on their CM 4.1(3).
They now noticed that when a Meet-me conference lasts more than 20 minutes the voice quality is severly degraded. Even so much that they have to setup the Meet-me conference again.
What can cause this issue?
Here are the details:
CM version:
4.1(3)sr2
CFB resourses:
software based CFB_Pub & CFB_SUB, so codec used internally is G711.
Codec used to PSTN is G729, so transcoding has to take place for participants on PSTN side.
Transcoder resource:
1 transcoder resource of type Cisco IOS Enhanced Medie Termination Point (DSP farm)
I haven't got the exact details of this DSP farm yet. Will post it later.
Meet-me numbers:
Range of 7 meet-me number
Service Parameters Callmanager service:
Maximum Ad-hoc conference = 4
Maximum Meet-me conference unicast=30
Suppress MOH to Conference - True
Service Parameters IP Voice Media Streaming:
CFB Parameters, call count=48, Run Flag=true
MTP Parameters, call count=48, Run Flag=true
