I have a Cisco IP Phone 7942. Every message I received was fast forwarded; therefore, I have hard time decipher them.
Does anyone know what code to press to remove that feature?
Thank you very much for your help.

Hi Ya-ling,
You don't mention the voicemail system you are using?? With Unity
Connection "Standard" conversation Message playback "Slow down" is
by pressing 6-4 during message playback
With the "Classic" converstion Message playback "Slow down" is by
pressing 4 during message playback
Cheers!

Thank you Rob for your prompt solution.
I have the phone which is with the "Classic" converstion Message playback.
Do you know if I want to speed up the message play back, what code should I use? I happened to press the code too many times when I was trying to find out if it is with the "Classic" converstion Message playback or with Unity Connection "Standard" conversation Message playback.
Thanks again for your help.

Hi Ya-Ling,
You are most welcome my friend
To speed up the message playback with the "Classic" conversation
you would press 6 during message playback.
Cheers!

Hi Ya-Ling,
If you do not want speed and volume changes to be saved as new default settings for the user, you can disable this functionality by unchecking the Save Speed and Volume Changes Made by User setting on the;
System Settings > Advanced > Conversation Configuration page in Cisco Unity Connection Administration.
Cheers!
