Hi,
I have a 3640 router, i want to use as a gateway with 1 nm-hdv-1t1 module and 4 pots. I first configure pots with mgcp, it works, i want to add the nm-hdv-1t1 and it fail to register. may i use 2 nm module with mgcp or it will be easier with h-323
thanks

I think you can use 3 nm modules with MGCP.

You likely do not have enough DSP resources for all the cards you're using.
You can check these commands for your usage:
show voice dsp group all
show voice dsp detail
If you do a 'show voice port summary' and your ports are not in there, that means that they did not come up because there were not enough DSPs.
You can check this for your DSP usage:

It's also possible that your naming convention is wrong. The 0/0/1 or 1/0 etc can change based on the cards you put in the box. There's a way to change this in CUCM for some of the older boxes this happens to. Make sure your 'show voice port summary' matches the 0/0/0 convention used in CUCM.
