We are setting up a phone system using 8861 handsets and MMP. As soon as you pick up the handset, the call window pops up and blocks the description of all of the line keys. I know you can manually minimize the call window when this happens, but is there a way to have the call window start in a minimized way?
For example, if we want to pick up the phone and press a line key to call another extension, we have to first minimize the window to determine which line key to press because the descriptions are blocked. Same goes if we are on a call and want to "park" the call (using line key), we have to minimize the screen to see which all parking spaces are available.
Is this screen layout of the call window a function of the service provider I use (Jive) or is the layout of the call window the same for all phones?
